EOZEN’s production centre is located in Ferreira in Granada. These facilities are strategically located near to the A-92 motorway, in a plateau of 1,100 metres above sea level, and are destined to be one of the reference points concerning technological innovation within the wind power sector.

The factory, that has a production capacity of 400 MW/year, includes a surface area of 21,186 m2 which is built on 113,000m2 of land, making this one of the most ambitious projects in the region.

The factory is made up of the main premises and two annexed premises. The main factory premises are split into four areas each adapted for the different manufacturing processes which take place inside of them: manufacturing of blades, moulds, resin treatments and wind turbine assembly. The side premises include the warehouses, workshops, changing rooms as well as the core office area, which is comprised of 600m2 and split into two levels and is where the different offices, technical rooms and laboratories are found.

14 months have been spent developing this industrial complex and the following have been used:

• 6,500 m3 of concrete
• 1,300,000 Kg of steel
• 1 Km of piping
• 21,000 m2 of curbing
• 8,000 m2 of cladding
